Out of the BOX NP9170 - What will i install first

I will be receiving my NP9170 this week with no operating system installed. I will be installing Win7 with office 2007

What do I install 1st, 2nd 3rd etc. ie. dirvers, operating system?

install the OS

then log in and get out the drivers cd that comes with laptop

put in cd and run the autorun.exe

install the main drivers (9 of them i think) as they apply to you

for example if you have an amd gpu you wont be able to install the nvidia driver option you will know this for sure because when you click on it it will say no such device found or whatnot

anyway install those main drivers in order and reboot once your done

then go run the .exe off the disc again after the reboot and go click on the option drivers

install those in order again as they apply

the wireless card driver is in the option drivers so connect to the internet after you install them so windows can do its updates before you reboot again

*note* you probably would be able to install all the drivers in one go without restarting in between but this is how i did it and no problems

after that should be good to go
