I am having a hard time. Rivatuner seems to not work while ATI tools seems to downclock it rather then overlock. :(

The card is still new, so you might have to wait for a bit before there are more software support for OCing.

Are you hungry for more performance? ... ;)

I tried ati tools on my desktop a few times and it didn't really seem to make a difference even in the in program test with the furry cube.

The 8800M GTX had many problems with overclocking unless using a specific driver. Most users resorted to hardware clocking, that is, overclocking and overvolting using the vBIOS. The advantage of this is you can clock up far higher than you can via software, and the clock will be more stable. The disadvantage... you have to reboot each time you want to change your clock settings. Takes a little longer to find the optimal overclock. It will also always run at that overclock when any application calls on the video card to run in "extra" mode. Let me know if you need help flashing. Its not the easiest thing to get going, but once you do, its well worth it.
