    Overclocking Q6600

    I bet some of you already know what I'm going to ask.

    Anyways I've been reading around and I've discovered that the D901C has a larger cooling mechanic specifically for Intel's Extreme line of CPUs. With a Q6600 GO Slacr at 95w vs 105w (standard) some overclocking seems possible.

    I suppose if I were serious about it I would want a Q6700. I've never overclocked a computer much less a laptop, but I have time to kill and I'm in the process of purchasing a laptop, so I'm looking at as many options as I can.


    A desktop isn't a possibility for me, I'm homeless. :(

    There is a search fuction, right over this thread where the dark blue toolbar is (User CP, FAQ, Members List, Image Gallery, etc. etc.). If you still don't see it, it's under where it lists the subforums and forums this thread is in.
