Is it possible to overclock the T7700 on a Sager 5792?
If so how would one do that?
Also, say in a few weeks/months I want to upgrade my processor, how would I go about doing that? If I got it replaced with a chip of equal value, ie. the new 2.5ghz penryn would it cost me anything? (the 2.4ghz 65nm is = to the 2.5ghz 45nm price wise)
Who would do it for me? Would Sager? Would Justin or Xiopic do it even though I didnt get my system from them? When will these processors be available for OEM purchase from these guys... what about from Newegg?
Thanks.
ps. Also if I were to buy some RAM online to upgrade what i have, looking for performance gaming RAM what would you recommend, and is it worth it over the stock stuff Sager gives you?
finally does the 5792 have any space for an additional HD (dont need 1 just curious)

I can answer some of these questions.
It is not possible to overclock that CPU, no. The T7700 already runs at a blazing fast 2.4GHz and going even to 2.8GHz would not do much for performance - you wouldn't notice it, I can tell you that much.
Notebook RAM is generally the same all around, it is not like desktop memory. The timings are usually all the same and the lower latency stuff does not give a noticeable performance boost. Just get the RAM from Sager - that way it's already installed and under warranty with the rest of the system. -
For the processor upgrade: Penryn are the new processors and even if the CURRENT value is the same for the T7700 and the equivalent penryn processor, expect to be paying extra for the upgrade. Why? You already used the T7700 and the value of the T series will drop when the penryns become widely available -> it's a newer and "better" product.

Alright, but it is possible to upgrade at Penryn at some point, Ill just have to pay for it. SO who does these upgrades, do I need to send it back to Sager? or can i send it to Justin, or one of the other resellers?
Is it hard to upgrade it myself when they are available for purchase? -
you can do the CPU yourself.
Overclocking T7700.. Upgrading Question too.
