I think that I've a very big problem : My CPU CLck is at 2,7Ghz and when I run CUP-Z the CPU Frequency is 1,7ghz and 2,7 1 second later. The voltage is not fixed neither !

Ok, The PM45 Chipset (Yours) is not supported by SetFSB, and the developer stated he never will support it. So keep that in mind in the first place. The most you can overclock the FSB with the T9400 and P9500 is from 2.5 to 2.7GHz, and there is no way to increase it at this time. You'll notice when you click set FSB, it will overclock your CPU to 2.7GHz, and can be verified using CPU-Z.

Does`nt this overclock the whole laptop? What happends if you overclock your GPU aswell? Let`s say you have OC`ed a 9800M GT to 600/900/1500.

Yep, that's correct. Now i have a 2729Mhz (from 2530Mhz) T9400 while the fsb went from 266Mhz to 287,2Mhz and the temperature (with undervolting) climbed up only 4C!!! Thanks

I did some benchmarks with my overclocked system (3dMark 06) and here are the results:

    fsb(Mhz) cpu (Mhz) 3dMark 06 SM2 Score SM3 Score cpu score
    266 2530 9651 4410 4335 2320
    287 2727 10429 4805 4638 2513

That means that with a 8% increase in cpu speed, i got ~8% increase at results. So my system is cpu bounded ,correct?

Your fsb is reset every time you turn off your computer. Make sure to shut down, then boot up, and not do a reboot.

I am guessing it crashes because you have overclocked the GPU too? SetFSB overclocks the whole computer, GPU too.

no it doesn't it OC the FSB ..... the effect on the GPU is minimal and it doesn't mess with clocks

unless your referring to the PCI bus

If you are using setfsb, then you are overclocking the clock generator, and the pci-e bus runs off that same clockgen, so yes, you are running a systemwide overclock.

Not every T9400 is made the same, some OC better than others.
