I originally posted this in the Aftermarket upgrades thread but was rightly pointed in this direction if I wanted to get some real tips.

Namely, I was wondering if anyone had overclocked their i7-720QM and, if so, how exactly they did so? I've never attempted anything like this before and so would appreciate an in depth, step by step walkthrough if there's one available (or anyone around who'd be willing to describe the process).

My machine has pretty decent cooling and the CPU temps are usually super cool at never more than 60 degrees Celsius so I'd be willing to do something like this as my laptop is now nearly 2 years old and out of warranty. I'm definitely CPU limited in a few games I really want to play and would love to get an extra 10-20% performance out of this thing if possible (and not likely to damage my rig much in the long term).
