Is it possible to actually overclock a NON-EXTREME Duo processor?? I find it hard to believe there is no way to do so.But it might be true As the main selling point of the Extreme is its ability to overclock. Help me out here guys

so how does setfsb work? I took a look at it and it seems to have a lot of strange settings, well at least to me lol. Never overclocked a cpu before.

I dunno why you guys would want to OC you cpu`s... it`s more dangerous than the GPU OCing and won`t get you more fps, at least not yet...
Maybe in some RTS`s but that`s about it...

This type of programs deal directly with the PLL registers... they are volatile, so when you turn off your computer(not restart) the PLL custom settings are erased and the system returns to stock, like the data on the RAM...

No changes are made on software level, so doing a system restore will not make any diference.

    ;)
