I think you can use RivaTuner to change the RAM clock speeds to boost performance, but I'm not sure about the GPU itself. Of course doing this is risky and make sure you know what you're doing before so.
Personally, I'm not gonna overclock it myself since I'm not experienced in that field, so I'm going to wait until experienced OC'ers get their hands on the IFL-90 and overclock it to the optimal levels. -

Why overclock an already powerful GPU?
No point in do so..... yet. -
thats what i was hoping for, Oc'ers to respond and tell me how, but im guessing its still way to early.
-
they say its underclocked from what i hear.
-
OC'ing will void your warranty, so make sure ya know what you're doing.
-
thats something i didnt think about....warranty....i sure wanna keep that........................................ darn, guess i wont be Ocing till 3 years
-
lol good call..
ocing is just lieing to your computer..
if you really want to do it you can but make sure you know how powerful your comp is before you do it..
don't be the one to test it and be like..
going over 2.0 will fry your processor.. =(... -
hahah, im not gonna do it anymore, im scared now lol

Overclocking isn't as dangerous as people make it out to be. As long as you are careful and cautious, overclocked computers can last years. I had a PIII overclocked 25% (800 Mhz to 1Ghz) and its still going strong after 8 years. Personally, I won't overclock the 8600M GT in this machine until it begins to struggle on new games at med/low settings, which I figure is another 2 years down the road.

tagged... awaiting overclocking for dummies tutorial =)
i don't want to try unless i have some really safe step by step directions haha. -
I don't know if the 7950GTX is underclocked. It's 575Mhz Core and 700Mhz Memory...what is the stock supposed to be?
-
Lol wujen we were(at least i meant) the 8600GT in the Sager 2090, its supposedly underclocked.
-
Ah, sorry mate...I just saw Sager
-
not a problem at all, glad to see such energetic Sager owners

i just overclocked my GeForce4 MX440 w/ 64mb (6years old) for my desktop today. Was 270/450, now its 300/500. HAHA! now i can play starcraft broodwars smoothly again!
-
I remember those cards, they can barely run BF1942.
-
GeForce4 MX440...i remember when i had that card. It did run Brood war smoothly. ran CoD2....kinda. haha
-
-
who didnt play Starcraft.....
-
Overclocking it will probably be really easy and you can most likely do it on the fly. If you're going to do that though I would recommend a nicer notebook cooler that is a worthy investment in this case, and it will be an extra weight off your shoulders making it easier to sleep at night knowing you've got backup cooling on that GPU. I might try overclocking it myself as it's supposed to come in today, so maybe I'll try in a few days?
-
be careful, as warned above may void warranty
, but if you get a safe working OC, tell us how u did and what temps etc....
-
I overclocked my memories to sync with my fsb at 1066 mhz and no problem so far, and don't underestimate the mx440, I still have one of those and can run smoothly a lot of games.
Overclock rules as long as your power supply can afford it. -
