What do you guys think of this config.

Msata 64gb samsung drive for the OS

512 Crucial M4 SSD for the HDD

    Bluray for the optical..

    Is this a smart config?

Its a good config but id use the M4 for the OS as it offers much higher speeds and use the mSATA for Rapid Start (takes up 8GB) and the rest of the space on it for backups or something else.

I'd either use the Crucial drive as your boot drive AND storage and dump the mSATA, since it will run circles around any mSATA drive OR dump the M4 and replace it with a 500 or 750GB HDD and up the mSATA to a larger 80 or 120GB minimum. Using an SSD as a storage drive is incredibly expensive and just not usually worth it, especially in your case where the SSD is going to be significantly faster than the boot drive you chose.
