Reference: When I refer to screen tearing, I mean it seems as though there's an invisible tear line across the screen when there's excessive movement on the screen, Just making sure there's no communication error Ok

My problem: I am running all my games and When I play screen tearing is pretty bad. It always stays consistent. if I Connect HDMI on TV Works like a charm with no screen tearing on TV bus no laptop always have scren tearing

Vsync doesn't fix the issue, I am running my monitor at 60fps refresh rate.

Any suggestions to fix this issue?

I have the same problem as yours. The line appears when I am web browsing and scrolling the web page.

I have the same problem only when running games using DirectX 11. The screen tearing disappears when running the same games for example using DirectX 9. I also get screen tearing on my external monitor using a DVI connection, but I haven't tried using an HDMI. I'll try and get back to you.

Try enabling v-sync in the intel GPU settings (in the notification bar).

Even when you are using the 7970m it has to pass through the intel HD 4000 before being sent to the display.

It's already enabled, makes no difference. Again, why would the screen tearing disappear when running games the same games on DX 9 instead of DX 11?

Try turning off anti-aliasing and turning v-sync on. Play with those two settings in-game and in your CCC under 3D settings.

Screen display is handled by Intel graphics not and catalyst. So try adjust from Intel graphics. I have no screen tearing

Ah, yes! I forgot to add. Try and play with the Intel settings, too. :) Thanks, king601.

I already do this test and guess what hapened. THe screen keep´s Black and the sound of the games keep playing on background.

so if I enable v-sync in the intel GPU just dont show any image, the screen turns full black

so if I disable v-sync in the intel GPU works, but with screen tearing

It seems some settings are messed up or conflicting. Uninstall all driver and run driver sweeper after restarting .then install and driver from clevo website :)
