Yesterday, as I was moving my laptop to a different power socket, the AC adapter stopped working suddenly. It did not sustain any shock or anything.

Anyone knows what might have gone wrong with it? The blue light doesn't turn on anymore and it doesn't charge. Tried a different power cable (to the power adapter) and it was still not working

If you're certain no accidental damage was incurred then it could have been happenstance. AC adapters are known to die over time, unfortunately.

Have you checked the fuse and if it's a problem with the cord between the brick and the wall. Also did you remove it when moving the adapter?
