I know there has been mention of the glossy LCD bezel in other posts and how it can be re-painted however I'd like to get some honest opinions from you guys regarding how reflective / annoying it appears with both ambient and artificial light in the background, particularly with the Matte LCD.

I've been considering getting a Metabox P150EM, the Australian version, with the Matte LCD however I'm reluctant to do so due to the glossy bezel.

    Thanks

I thought it would be incredibly annoying and was planning to paint it with matte paint.

However it's not nearly as bad as I thought it would be and if anything enhances the screen due to how black it is.

The glossy bezel does not annoy me at all. As someone else said it even accentuates the brilliance of the matte screen.

I truely believe it is depended on the application you are using. If your application requires better color and focus, you shall buy Glare type screen. If you are a PC gamer and do not want any chance for reflection, then you shall buy Matte Screen.

If you pay attention to the screen you probably won't notice the bezel at all.

I thought it would drive me crazy but it doesn't really bother me at all. I just hate the smudges.
