Eeyup... Another P150EM keyboard issue. There's one key need much more pressure to register. When I hit that key hard, usual pressure will be enough for 5 mins and then I need to do it again. Probably it's a problem like spilling cola on keyboards, key does not go it's deepest state.
Can I remove these keys like desktop keyboards? I tried removing it with simply pulling but it looks like there's a special mechanism. Should I remove whole keyboard to remove it? Or I can't remove it at all?

No, new keyboard isn't an option. Don't say buy steelseries. My keyboard is still alive and well except "one" key.

The keys arent made to be removed individually. You can remove the whole keyboard by taking off the speaker grill then removing the 5 screws holding it down, then slide the keyboard up and out. Spilling cola most likely is the reason, there is probably some residue keeping it from being depressed just like you suspect.

Read it again. It's "like" spilling cola. I didn't do anything.

    So I can't fix this can I?

I did missread it sorry. You will most likely need a new keyboard, PM me if you got it from us otherwise contact your reseller and they should be able to set up an exchange for you. Ask for an advanced replacement so you get the new keyboard sent to you then send the old one back.

Seems like keyboard issues are a common problem with p150em/p170em. I did a post (p170em keyboard woes) about it, only solution is to replace entire keyboard. My new keyboard is much less problematic, although it is not 100% better. Might RMA it if it gets any worse.

There doesn't seem to be a solution except replacing the whole thing as you mentioned. At least they are easy for the user to replace so you dont have to send the whole computer in.

Consider getting hold of a MSI steel series keyboard and modding it if you feel confident, they are more reliable and offer a nicer typing experience even if they can be a little tricky to source.

That key is getting used to it. It wasn't even writing 2 months ago, now I can write normally. but when I press it softer it still fails. Not a big problem anymore. I post this thread out of curiosity.
