    The short answer I got was no. You'd have do some work to align everything up, cutting and whatnot.

    I was also contemplating this a while back. At quick glance of a few pictures I've seen here and there, it seems everything would line-up except a few chassis modifications on the left ports.

    However, I've been turned-off by the EM platform lately and I will most likely stick with my HM indefinitely.

    If you have an HM and aren't very concerned about battery life you have the option of throwing in a 7970m or 680m. Just no Ivy Bridge, but that's honestly not a huge boost anyhow.
