My local shop couldn't repair my NP9150 because he didn't have the schematic file. He needs more than just the schematics in the service manual. the file you use in board view software like what Louis Rossmann uses. If anyone can get that for me, or find someone who can repair the board for me, thank you. The life of a $1500 laptop depends on this help, as Clevo nor Sager are helping me.

What burned? All the chips are pretty standard parts you can directly replace.

My re-soldering over and over again eventually led to an accidental short and the burning of the board around the primary positive pin left a hole that made it unrepairable by most, bar expert repairmen. The hole was already developing even before I started repairing, back when the area was charring and caused me to diagnose the DC input jack in the first place, but this was the final straw.
I found an as-is replacement board for $100 on ebay. It's in like-new condition, but it wasn't powering on properly. At first, plugging in the power adapter would cause the LEDs to turn on automatically without the power button being touched, but after a short time wouldn't even show LEDs. So something burned out, but my repairman can't figure it out. He had it for weeks. This laptop means a lot to me and I'm still desperate to have it fixed. -

The replacement board is shorted, if they have had it for weeks then they should have identified the main rails on the board and checked those. I'd suggest a working replacement board rather than trying to fix a broken one is your best bet.
