    P150EM wireless loading time

    Hi,

    I have a problem with the wireless loading time after bootup.

    I have the Intel 6235 and have this problem since the beginning.

    After I bootup windows and everything is loaded. It takes about 2 to 3 minutes longer before I have wireless.

    I dont have any downloadspeed problems though. But do have lag-spikes sometimes with bf3.

    It this a driver issue or is it normal?

    ive just checked for you and theres defo something wrong as mine take 3-5 seconds.

    you can find the drivers > Software Upgrade

    Mine comes up pretty quickly as well like MrDJ said. Is this no matter what network you're trying to access?

    So I just uninstalled the 6235 Intel drivers and reinstalled with the new ones. The problem still persists. It's with every internet connection at home and school so it's not my home connection.

    Any other solutions?

    On your home router try narrowing it down if it's for a specific channel. In your router settings change broadcast mode between 2.4ghz and 5ghz. If it's a specific channel that's causing the problem that could be a quick fix, but since it's happening on multiple networks it's possible you just got a funky card.

    You're welcome to try Complete Internet Repair. It's a standalone/portable utility, so you don't need to install it. I recommend creating a system restore point before you run this though, as it resets and attempts to repair quite a few network configurations and flushes the DNS resolver cache (the latter of which is no big deal).

    Had this problem several times before, try doing this:

    1. Go to program and features and uninstall Hotkey driver, Follow instructions and reboot.
    2. Go to program and features and uninstall any Intel Wifi/WiDi/MyWifi/BT/PROSet related driver, Follow instructions and reboot after each one.
    3. install or Reinstall the "Gigabit LAN Driver", Follow instructions and reboot. (This driver must be installed, it's for the ethernet port)
    4. Get the latest "PROSet/Wireless Software and Drivers" and install it, reboot.
    5. Optional: If you want, install latest BT, WiDi or MyWifi driver, reboot after each one.
    6. Finaly, install latest version of the Hotkey Driver

    Get the latest drivers from any of these sites:
