Hi folks,
I've just received my P150HM from Malibal and it's just a lovely, lovely machine but unfortunately I've encountered a problem.
My Nvidia 485M idles at about 48°C but under heavy load (Crysis 2 or Furmark) it reaches temps of 95-97°C and my laptop reboots![]()
This occurs relatively quickly (within 10 mins of use)
Has anyone else experienced similar problems with the 485m?
Is there anything I can do, other than RMA it?
Thanks,
- Drax

What's your room temperature?
Also I would be wary of using Furmark, but if you are getting such high temperatures in Crysis 2, then it's either high ambient temps, bad paste job, and/or loose heatsink. Sometimes heatsinks can get jarred loose during shipping, shipping couriers aren't the most careful with parcels when they have to process thousands of them in a day. -

WoW!
You just can't argue with customer service like this.
I received a response from Malibal within an hour of contacting them and on a Sunday too.
Just fantastic guys, thank you.
I can't wait to play with my new (fixed) laptop -
Wow, that is some serious service right there. Some companies here in the UK should take note and learn!

Great Service MALIBAL! though hopefully none of this happens to me.
