So far everything has been really good with this machine. I've only encountered one thing that has given me a little trouble. Perhaps one of you has had a similar experience or knows the solution. Well, this will probably sound like a dumb question to those of you who are very computer savy, but unfortunately I don't fall in that category. I installed Steam so I could get Skyrim downloading, then when I went to close the window in the upper right hand corner of the screen, the mouse gets all funky and spazzes out in the upper right hand corner for some reason. I thought it was the mouse (Logitech g400) but then I tried my other mouse (Logitech m305) and I had the same problem. I went into the mouse options, but didn't see anything that looked like it would fix my problem.

Have any of you had this problem on the p150hm or with windows in general? I don't really know how to explain it well, other than it's a little spot in the upper right hand corner where my mouse freaks out. Any help? Thanks guys.

Also, I went here to download the newest Radeon HD 6970m drivers. That fixed the little crazy mouse problem...

    ATI Catalyst? Mobility Display Driver

But I still can't set my native resolution to 1920x1080... help?

let me help you go to desktop right click personalize, change monitor to 1, then change the display to 1080p.

also for the drivers, just get the auto detect software on amd, worked gr8 for me, i got my p170hm 2 hours ago :) witcher 2 is installing! :)

There is also a setting in the ATI software to do "overscan." Not sure if you did that or not.

When I hit Fn + F7 it changed my monitor from being only able to handle 1600x900 or whatever it is to being full hd and changing to 1920x1080.

FN+F7 should just be an external display toggle as was said before. It's the same idea as Windows Key + P

Yea I know, but for some reason when I first got the laptop the display wasn't in HD, and when I did that it changed my monitor to HD instead of the display where you can only get 1600x900. I don't quite understand how that happened. But I was in awe when I saw the difference between normal and HD. Skyrim and MW3 look SO much better now. I'm very happy with the graphics on this pc. :D

Huh? I thought you just right clicked on the desktop background, selected screen resolution from the drop down menu, then selected 1920 x 1080 in the screen resolution drop down box? Whats this about a button combination to access "HD" screen mode?
