I just got my P150HM and am surprised to find that while the Synaptics touchpad does 2-finger scrolling both horizontally and vertically, a three finger press and all kinds of weird gestures that don't really appeal to me, I can't actually do a 2-finger tap for a right- or middle-click.

I'm using the driver that came with the notebook. Is there something I missed? It appears as a Synatpics PS/2 Port Pointing Device, and the driver version is 15.0.8.0 (dated 2/11/2010). Am I just missing something, or is it maybe just an outdated driver?

I don't think there is a 2 finger tap gesture out of the box, but if you download the program "two-finger-scroll" it should add 2 finger taps for you.

I can use two finger tap just fine. If you go into the synaptics control panel (it's should be in your quick launch bar), you can turn off all of the features you don't need.
