Is any GTX680m supported ? Regardless if it is from Dell or some other manufacturer ? Or are only clevo cards compatible ?

Do you know any retailer who sell`s a GTX680m upgrade Kit for an P150HM in Europe ?

    Rehards,

I believe you are restricted to Sager/Clevo specific cards. Sticking with Sager/Clevo manufactured cards will prevent a whole lot of headaches later in case of unforeseeable issues.

I'm sure if you check out THIS link it should be of some help to you in locating one that can sell you the card and heatsink. ;)

Hi everyone. It looks like i am about a year too late for this conversation. I am looking at buying a 680m for my p150hm. The seller, Upgrademonkey has told me that it is basically plug and play except for the modfied inf file. i am just wondering what the process is for the latest nvidia drivers, i think there 320.49 now. Any advice? i am not 100 % confident about the compatibility either, on his ebay site it says it was orignally a dell card but has it listed as compatible for the p1xxEM clevos.

Basically I believe you can use the modded inf drivers over a laptopvideo2go.com.

Make sure card vBIOS is 80.04.29.00.01 - the only compatible with HMs version.

.inf file can be found here on forums. Just use search for 680m in p1x0HM.
Download it and replace one that comes with drivers and you should be able to install the latest drivers with no problem.

Does the 6990M heatsink work with the nvidia card? From the pictures I don't see any difference betweent heatsinks and it looks like everything will fit.
