Hey guys, just noticed I have a few dead pixels on my p150hm which I bought for Black Friday. I'm in Costa Rica so I assume sending it back won't be an easy possibility. Is there any software I can download or perhaps something I can do manually to fix these things? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks a lot.

They definitely don't look black to me, they look more like some kinda shinny neon color. Is that saveable? And if yes is there a time limit to save them?

Okay so at this moment I'm using Undead Pixel 2.2 and have placed the little 5x5 flashy thingies on the dead pixels I found. I have the flash interval at 25 ms. Is this the correct interval? Have any of you ever tried this program and what kind of hope do I have to fix these dead pixels?

Those are not dead pixels you have. If they have any color, it means stuck pixels. Dead pixels have no chance of repairing. Stuck pixels may be repairable by software like the one you are trying.

But the success rate is greatly depended on purely luck. There is no other magic or known settings. You just try it out at various settings and hope for the best.

You could also lightly massage the area with the stuck pixels as suggested on other websites.

I had one on my brand new panel when I first got my model and the software even though I attempted it numerous times was hopeless.

I have had good experiences in the past from pressing with a cloth covered blunt fingernail directly onto the size of the pixel area where it is stuck and it pop out but with my current model honestly I could have put my foot through the screen that little bugger was not shifting, it is suprising how hard you can push a screen and it just recovers afterwards but be careful not to push too hard and you might cause other pixels to become stuck. In the end I had the panel replaced but did spend hours on it. :(

I set my screen saver to turn off, and changed the screen settings in the power settings as well. But when I run this program the screen still goes off after like... 5-10 minutes. Any ideas why?

Also, if I can fix these stuck pixels, how likely are they to come back?
