Hi I've recently been putting my p150sm to the test with battlefield 4, understandably when playing the laptop fans rev up to ensure the temperatures stay low.

I've overclocked my GPU +100 and +350 on memory my CPU is at stock.

When I exited BF4 my GPU fan cooled the gpu to idle temperatures then went back to idle spinning RPM however my CPU fan didn't do the same is there any way to force the CPU fan to stop revving so hard. I tried the fn+1 to 100 percent fan speed then pressed it again however it's still quite load as if it's still playing a game.

Is there any way to prevent this to happen i want to be able to play a game of battlefield 4 come off and the pc go back to it's normal idle sound (pretty much slient)

Could a bios update help if so where can I find a bios update for this P150SM?

    Regards Ben

Hey, I haven't had this problem before but the fans are definitely controlled by the bios. So I would assume a bios update may help. Give it a go and let me know :p

How do I update the bios? I've literally never done it in my life before?

It's not the BIOS that control the fans, it's the EC ( but update the two at once ^^) . the EC update for clevo p150sm don't improve noise/efficiency at all ( in fact, it doesn't change anything....

to do BIOS update ( stock or moded) ,you can download it on Prema's website : STOCK BIOS & EC | Prema Mod
he made an easy guide placed inside files , and you can see the "global" guide here : FLASHING GUIDE | Prema Mod

Lol, sorry on this one, I do remember others reporting the same issue, I can't remember how they resolved, but it will revolve around the EC.

What temp is your CPU when you quit and how long does it keep spinning hard and what is temp profile over the course of 5 minutes?

Has it always done this, or just recently?

What does your task manager show for processes and %CPU load?

Have you installed new drivers or some app recently?
