Hi all, I'm having issues with my Clevo P150SM laptop,

When plugged in, the charging light is intermittent at best. I know it isn't the A/C adapter because I ordered a replacement and the inability to charge persists. Has anyone had experience with issues in the charging port of the laptop and/or have suggestions for how one might fix it?

    Thanks in advance

    History of the charging problem:
The start of the problem was a minor nuisance. The display brightness would change as the computer lost and regained the charging current, so I set the brightness in the power settings to the same value for battery and A/C power. It progressively got worse so I searched a replacement A/C adapter, then it virtually stopped charging and the issue is the same with the replacement A/C adapter.

It's likely an issue with the port itself on the motherboard.

Indeed, any recommendations short of sending it back for repairs by the manufacturer?
