    Please Master @Prema you're (hopefully) my only hope!
    I have a Clevo p150SM-A with a suspect 980m. I get distortion occasionally in some games (such as WoW), although it seems to handle Farcry 5 nicely!
    Gutted to see that the actions of one person has made finding this valuable resource so difficult since I originally installed the mod. I would certainly be open to making a donation to get my computer back to full operation!
    @Prema Mod BIOS 1.03.11PM v2
    KBC /EC Firmware 1.03.08
    I would like to replace the 980m with a 860m as it will suffice for my needs.
    I've sourced one with BIOS 80.04.F5.00.06 Dated 03/09/14
    Device ID: 10DE 119A - 1558 5281
    This seems to match the 4GB version from my research but GPU-Z reports 2GB VRAM.
    When trying to use the 860m I get a frame or so appear and then just a black screen and it pretty much time to reboot!
    This is the GPU-Z report

    Hopefully I haven't got completely the wrong end of the stick and its not beyond hope!
    Many Thanks!

    The card is a 2GB variant, not like it matters since its very weak, I doubt vram will be a limiting factor.

    This glitch is apparently caused by the Premamod V2, others had issues with their 880Ms for instance and their solution was to either go back stock or install Premamod V1.

    Awesome, thanks for the information. Just one question, how do I get hold of V1 of the mod?

    Sounds like it maybe a broken GPU or board...
    If you are lucky it's just a problem with the Alienware vBIOS...

    EDIT: OK, Clevo used the 4GB variant for MXM (2GB for BGA), so there is no proper 2GB Clevo MXM vBIOS:

    You could still try it as your system has an iGPU and some firmware contain the code for various vRAM setups...
