Is there any particular reason why I wouldn't be able to make do with a p150hm battery in my 157sm? I ordered a p157sm battery but the seller sent a p150hm bat instead, and they let me keep the p150hm while they send me the correct one.

Any particular mods to be able to use it in there?

Pretty sure it's plug and play. You should be able to use the P150HM battery since it should be the same as the P157SM is using.

Odd. When I plug it in it says no battery detected

Then there may be an issue with the battery or your motherboard.

The casing itself is the issue. It pushes the battery hookup slot out of the way.
