    hii!i just started camera application to take some photos and i have this message pop up.....my camera doesn't work..

    i unistall then reinstall the drivers and same thing happens......pls help..thx.

    Silly question, but do you have the hotkey drivers installed, and have you tried hitting FN+F10? You should get a symbol at the top left of the screen indicating the camera is on or off.

    Unrelated, what theme are you using? The square Windows start icon is interesting.

    the camera is enabled with fn+f10.the camera works only on skype...its doesnt work with the bisoncap application neither windows live messanger.......any suggestions?thx.

    This happened to me one time on my X7200 and spent hours trying to fix it. In the end I reinstalled windows.

    I overlooked on a registry key that was removed by my registry cleaner.

    Honestly I didn't even bother since I spent 2hrs trying to fix it by uninstalling, reboot, install, check if working. I had a backup by Acronis that was 3 days old and used it to recover. At first I though it was GMail and Skype. The best way to fix it is restoring windows from a backup.

    You can try going into Device manager and uninstalling the driver and let itself re-install too see if it makes a difference. On a side note as well, I was kind of wondering to which theme that is as well. lol
