Anyone out there that has the p151hm1 with the hdd caddy installed in the optical bay could you look at it and see if it sits flush with the side and if there is a gap between the bottom of the notebook and the bezel. Attached are two pictures to show what mine looks like.

Mhhh nay... Mine doesn't look like that...

There is no gap in mine... But, out of curiosity, isn't that the closer lid of the optical drive?

I can see a bit of the metal for mine, but it's not sticking out as much as that one.

Is that even normal? I thought it should be flushed.

You need to push it in just a little more. First, before pushing anything, open the HDD plate and check if the Caddy is screwed on. If the screw is missing, then you can push the Caddy in, so it fits. If its screwed, remove the screw first (its only 1 screw) and try pushing it in after that.

I've installed my Caddy myself and it fits perfectly. Your situation is not normal, it needs to absolutely fit. Try fiddling around to see if you can manage to get it to fit right.

Do all resellers use the same kind of HDD caddy if I opt to buy it?

Probably. They should use the original Clevo one that is meant for these machines. Mine is original (i think) and fits perfectly.

Oh. I didn't know that there is an OEM Clevo HDD caddy, or is there?

b0b1man I've taken it completely apart multiple times. It's pushed in all the way. The bezel is snapped into place. Everything is screwed into place. The thing just doesn't fit right.

Thats unacceptable. You may want to return it and get a replacement...maybe its not the original Caddy. Mine really fits, I think yours should too.
