I have one with the i7 4700 in it. Is it possible to upgrade the CPU to a 4810 or above? I have seen bios hacks for other laptops that enabled the higher processors but haven't seen anything for this so far.

Just go with a 4800mq since it's pretty much the same thing.

We haven't tested yet, so there's no confirmation. There's next to no difference between the 4810MQ and the 4800MQ though, so it would be safer to go with what assuredly works (the 4800MQ).

Probably needs a BIOS update, since 4810MQ wasn't around when the P157SM came out. Prema's latest modded BIOS should add support for all the Haswell mobile refreshes.

Their feedback is mostly positive. Shoot them an email and ask some questions to feel them out before you spend money on something. Know also that they charge a 15% restocking fee for returning non-faulty items.

A few memebers here have ordered GPU's from them with good luck.
