    Hi Guys,
I have narrowed down my laptop purchase to the 3 above models.

I am kind of confused as to what to get.

In Australia, the P157SM-A and the P150SM-A are priced about 150$ more than the P151SM-A.

I did my researtch and found thatthe chassis on the 150 and 151 are the same(except rubberised) while the 157 is structuraly a bit different.Backlit keyboard on the 157 and 150A.

I am planning to use a dell power brick for which ever laptop I use.

My question is: Is the 150$ overprice worth the extra features?

I am confused to either put the 150$ on either the 150/157 else use that for a mSATA SSD drive on the 151SM-A.

Do we get significant cooling on the 157SM-A?

Would the bulkiness of the 157 SM-A be much different then the 151SM-A?

Sorry a couple of more queries:
Is the rubberised finish valuable in the long run?

98% Gamut - Worth 110$ over normal FULLHD Screen?

The other difference between the 151 and 150 is that the fingerprint reader is different. Backlit keyboard is not on the 151.

Whether the extra cost is worth it would depend on whether you need a Backlit keyboard or whether you are going to upgrade the gpu.

I own both 151 and 150 and really like the finish on both. Prefer the 151 non rubberised chassis but probably because I've owned it a lot longer and recently got the 150. Both are nice.

Not a significant increase In cooling on the 157 but reports are that it is very slightly cooler due to more airflow. It does have a thicker chassis than the other two so you need to take that into account.

Yes 157 vs 151 in bulkiness would be noticeable but not a massive difference.

I would say the higher gamut screen is not worth it over the stock matte but I'm having problems with my 95 gamut which could be unique to my screen.

Never had a problem with the stock screen on 151 and it's colour depth is very nice. When compared directly to the 95 gamut screen you can tell colours are more vibrant on the higher gamut but without direct comparison you wouldn't really notice and colours are good enough . The stock screen It's a great screen imo. Your results may vary.

    Hope that helps

The 151 is a value edition with smaller PSU which wont overclock as well as a result.

Thanks a lot for that! I am shifting towards the 151 because portability is of a concern too. Probably with the stock screen.

I am planning to use this for more virtualization lab hence was thinking of populating the laptop with 32gb ram and some ssd drives.

The 151 is a fantastic laptop. You won't be disappointed :). The stock 860m is more than capable for your needs and gaming as well
