    Hi,
    i want to update the BIOS on my laptop,currently i am running 1.00.04 and i downloaded this one : EC/KBC V1.02.12 & BIOS V 1.02.17 from this page http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/clevo-bios-older-models-released-in-after-2012.740492/ ,on the instructions it says to type "update.bat" or step1.bat or updateEC.bat if the files are on the same folder for the first step to flash the EC and afterward for the bios to type update.bat or step2.bat or updateBIOS.bat ,but I am afraid of bricking my laptop since on the file that I downloaded there is only one update.bat file and no step1 or updateEC files bios.PNG
    how should i proceed?

    The update.bat file is most likely for flashing the BIOS, maybe ME included. There should be separate files for the EC, and possibly an "meset.exe" file that also needs ran after the EC, before the BIOS.

    i found and flashed bios 1.02.16 from another source will it differ a lot from the bios 1.02.17?

    I flashed the 1.02.16 BIOS and i noticed now that the cpu is not reaching its turbo speed as often as it used to(i have an i7 3610qm) and i launched aida64 to stress test it and 3.3 was not reached once, only a bit under 3.1 ,is it common?

    If all cores are active 3.1GHz minus a bit for spread spectrum is the rated max.
