A very simple question, where can I find the mSATA bay in the P170EM? The manual doesn't say, and it is not in the HDD bays so it seems.

It's behind the main cover to the oposite side of the gpu.

Right by where there's a tuner card port, I believe.

Yes, I found it. I suppose the same metal chassis was once used for a notebook that could accommodate a TV tuner, this one clearly can't. I do see the mSATA connector, but there seems to be no way the secure a mSATA drive with on or more screws. How is that suppose to work?

There is a post with a screw in it. Unscrew it, lay the card flat and crew it back in.

Wow, Clevo even supplied the screw!
Thanks for your reply.

Clevo machines are shipped as barebones and there is no reason for the vendors to take it out and not leave that as an upgrade option really, unless they are spiteful lol.

I agree. Not to long ago I read a story of a guy who wanted to put a second HDD in his HP laptop. Of course the metal frame that holds the HDD wasn't there, so he had to order it. It came without the screws to mount it in the laptop, and he had to order those too.
But when you buy a HDD, like I bought my Seagate Momentus a few days ago, there are no screws either. If I'm not mistaken there used to be screws packed with a HDD in the past. I have no idea what type/size of screws they are. It would have been nice if the US had converted to metric decades ago, then at least we would have standard screws all around. -

Screws depend on the macine, the p150em does not even use them.

The cover provides it support which is screwed down, but all the more reason to go for a nice SSD
