I just received a P170HM with spare power adaptor. But the two adaptors in the package are different sizes.
    They are labelled:
    FSP180-ABAN1: AC Output: 100-240V-2.5A, 50-60Hz. DC Output: 19V-9.47A.

FSP220-ABAN1: AC Output: 100-240V-3.0A, 50-60Hz. DC Output: 19V-11.57A. (This one has 2-3cm longer brick).

I really don't have a clue about this stuff, which one should I use? I'm in the UK if that makes any difference.

Many thanks for helping me not fry my computer.

Are the tips on the power adapter (the part that goes into the laptop) the same... that looks like you got a P170 AC adapter and a P150 AC adapter.

One is a 180W brick and the other is 220W.

Ahh! I hadn't even notice the tips were different. One is about 1cm wide with 4 holes (presumably for P170HM) and the other is about 4mm with a single hole, more like a large phone charger. I guess the second is for P150HM like you say.
