    P170SM - Fan controls and firmware updates?

    Is there a way of controlling the fans of this model? Also the version I have is a rebrand and I have been told by the company that trying to update the firmware is next to impossible, both because it is far more difficult then on a normal desktop machine, but also because Clevo doesn't release the updates to everything so finding updates is hard on its on.

    Anyone know a way around this (assuming the firmware actually needs updating, which more gaming motherboards usually do)

    I would like to know this too. Fan control would be very very welcome. I get the feeling we might have to wait for Prema's BIOS mod though.

    I think the EC is going to be a little tough to crack since they tend to use low level proprietary code.
