    Hi.

    This is my first post.
I have a Sager NP8278-S and need to replace the Motherboard.
    My motherboard part number is
    6-77-P170SMA0-D03B-4#20 V3.2B

I am looking at a replacement on ebay with the following part number.
    6-77-P170SMA0-D03A-2#10 V3.1A

    Visually both motherboards seem identical.

    Will the replacement work?
What is the difference between V3.1A and V3.2B?

    Thanks in advance.

    Sean.

No, because some ports are different, such as the sound board etc. So you'd have to switch other smaller components as well.
