This is probably a stupid question but I'd rather ask the resident experts than break something...

How does one remove the panel that covers the keyboard screws ( the one with the power button and indicator lights)?

I've gone through the service manual and I've found several references to this panel but nothing clearly indicating how to remove it. On my Alienware this piece was a nightmare if you didn't know the 'trick' to avoid breaking it.

I'm wanting to check the antenna cables to my wireless card because I'm not getting a fully 450mbps connection.

That's kind of what I was wondering. But given the fragile nature of that piece I was hoping to find someone that actually has removed it or dealer willing to share.

Did you check through the service manual, or the user guide that comes with the machine? I'll shoot you a PM with more info.

Yes... I did go through the actual service manual.

My dilemma is that it indicates to remove the battery and rear service cover first. However nowhere does it tell how to remove that indicator panel...

Which had me wondering if there were screws or clips that had to be released from beneath like my Alienware does or a push-through like the p150hm does or if it was ribbon cable tethered.
