Hey guys, I just updated my nvidia drivers to the newest release and was trying to update my vbios to another overclockable vbios. The one I had was not as stable as I would like at higher clock speeds. I flashed it with nvflash and it seemed to work... But now all I get is the bios splash screen and after a couple of post beeps it comes up with an mxm bios validation screen. Please help me figure out how to boot from my USB drive again!!

And yes, I backed up the old bios.

If you can't enter the bios or select the key for boot options then you are stuck and need to either get the card flashed by someone with a dual card or muxed setup, by a shop doing the chip manually or back to your re-seller.

Well... Either that or I can see if Prema has some magic fix :D (please have a fix!) I guess I'll pm him and see what he says.

*edit* it's not that I don't have a good bios on hand... It's that I can't get past my splash screen to boot to a device

try removing your harddrive and then plug in your USB, it should boot from it since your splash screen is showing.

Which version of the vbios did you flash to? 80.04.33.00.10 is adviced not to be used with HM series.

First, your card is not bricked, it is an incompatibility between the vbios and the PxxHm Bios that doesn't evolve since it is EOF.
Only the Clevo 80.04.29.00.01 and MSI 80.04.33.00.24 vbios are compatible with HM series. Other versions will cause the same issue as yours.

If you have flashed with the clevo 80.04.33, remove your optical disk drive and HDD or ssd, then plug your bootable usb key. After the bios splash screen and the couple of post beeps, you will boot on your usb key and you will be able to restore your backup.
If you have flashed with clevo 80.04.67, then the only solution is to find a laptop compatible with this vbios in order to restore the backup (P1XXEM ...)
I have got same problem as yours, i bought a 151em with a 15 days refundable option, i have done the restore and then return it for a refund.
Maybe someone with a P1XXEM, could restore the backup for you if you send it the card...
