isn't cloud gate and ice storm very low scores.
compared to my 680 3dmark11 above is + 1600 compared to my P6195
firestrike is + 900 compared to my 3869
    but cloudgate i get 16360
    ice storm i get 92554

to be honest im no expert when it comes to the scores anyway

They are benchmarks not really meant for this class of hardware.

    Thanks for sharing!
Of course they are impressive, but they are not SO impressive that I have to think of buying a new laptop, I will stick with the X7200 with SLI GTX 680m then for another year or so, I think the next generation of graphic cards will be far more impressive...

This time next year you'll be looking at close to double the performance of the 780m, not no stinking 25-30%. ;)

The Broadwell and Maxwell combo will be a BEAST! I'm saving my pennies for an SLI Broadwell/Maxwell P375 type machine.

But the 780m is a very worthy upgrade for 580m and older cards for sure. Super boost for them. :)

I would say if you've got ivy/kepler, why not hold out for the inevitable maxwell refresh + skyfall? Now THAT'll be an upgrade.

TDP is somewhat variable depending on temperatures and EC management.

How soon are these other upgrades coming out? I was thinking of purchasing this laptop, but can wait if something new is on the near horizon.

Well broadwell is 2015 and maxwell is q2 2014 (all from rumours mind you) so I hope you have a tent.
