This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Clevo only offers Win 8 drivers for the P177sm, couldn't find explicit mention of issues or lack there of when going with Windows 7 instead.
    Anything I should be aware of before making the switch?

    You might check with whoever resold it (unless you got direct from clevo). as they may have the drivers for it. Where did you get it at?

    No issues. As long as you have the drivers you need (OS-native or otherwise), it should work like a dream.
