Having a bit of trouble finding feedback on this particular laptop, despite having browsed through the owner's threads and whatnot for it. (I'm not the best forum searcher either). This will be a school laptop/mobile gaming station while I attend Uni. I'm looking to purchase a Malibal Veda P180HM; though, haven't finished my decision. Still plenty of prices, reviews and customer reports to consider...

    Keyboard
--Could anyone provide feedback on the strangely placed extra keys on the left side of the keyboard? Though my Filco is more likely to be used when possible, I still see the keyboard getting plenty of use for gaming.

--@Rebranders - Is it at all possible to have this keyboard swapped out with something more standard?

    General Specs
--How necessary do the lot of you feel a SSD is? Most of the forum seems to speculate it as crucial. (Haven't moved over to these in my desktop even!)

--Will Dual GTX 560m's provide much temperature/sound benefits over a single 6990? Will battery-life in low/no GPU usage scenarios suffer with dual GPU?

--Can anyone speculate/report as to what kind of battery life could be expected from full to 5%? Assuming battery is in optimal condition, of course.

Sorry for the barrage of questions all at once, and twice the apology for what may have been covered in other threads. I've always been a desktop enthusiast; This purchase will mark my first in high-end laptops. I just want to make sure its a good one!

    Hey man,

I can't answer most of your questions, but I do have a buddy with a SSD HD, and his load times in games are outrageously fast. I think if you have the cash for the SSD you should go for it.

    Good luck.
