    According to this, it's the fastest socket G3 cpu. If for some reason it doesn't boot, use your old cpu to update the ec/bios then try again.

    4930mx is widely regarded as better than the 4940mx refresh. Also the 4940mx qs is also highly praised.

    They did seem to loosen the binning on the 40 series.

    True, the 4940MX QS still demands a higher value, but I can't find any info as to why.

    At this point I doubt it, they were technically not for resale anyway ;)
