    Hi there
Just wondering if anyone in Australia has had anything to do with P4 laptops?
Are they a good mob to buy from?
here they get their laptops from metabox who is the australian distributor.
I am planning to order a laptop to the value of 2800 AUD from them.
    Cheers

I bought mine from them. They are legit. You can pricematch AL too. Basically they dont hold any stock. They all come from ITCchannel in Inglewood

I got mine from Logical Blue One. Jack's friendly and easy to deal with.

I talked to all three (LBO, AL and P4) before buying and LBO felt the friendliest of them, and i've never had any issue with my P150.

Thanks guys I was beginning to think I was the only Aussie on here, yeh I went to the P4 reseller in inglewood last week to view the chassis of both the the p150 and p170em I think they have changed their name now though.
I see the prices from p4 are better than affordable laptops and a lot better than logical blue one but still not anywhere near as good as the prices in the states.
Ballsofsteel :Have you had any warranty related issues etc with them?

I've personally never dealt with them, but I have a friend who has and he said he would recommend them.

I would also suggest you check out Logical Blue One - Buy Cheap Laptops & Notebooks Online in Australia as ive always found them to be a bit more fair priced

EDIT: oops, didnt read your post above that where you said you've checked out LBO.

    Hi,

If you have any questions about LBO, please don't hesitate to PM me here.

Also, buyer beware: There are only 3 actual Clevo partners in Australia. 1. Horize, 2. Pioneer Computers and 3. Leader

All others are grey imports, please make note of this.

If you would like an advice let me know.

And thanks to the other NBR members for your nice recommendations, it's appreciated.

There shouldn't be that much difference in price? Make sure it is comparable product. For example a lot of machines have different displays as standard and they can cost a lot to upgrade.

Ok now im confused, ive never even heard of these three companys you have listed, and so if they are the only partners, does that make your company LBO a grey importer?
I thought metabox was the only importer and from there there are resellers like p4, LBO and affordable"?

LBO sells Horize machines as you can see on the site.
The other ones you mention sell Metabox as from what is listed on their sites.

As a representative of LBO we have zero affiliation whatsoever with Metabox.

We are not a grey importer of Clevo products, as I stated before we buy ours from Horize who is a Clevo partner.

The other ones you can google for, but I was just simply stating some facts. Sorry to confuse.

So are you saying it is a bad idea buying from a metabox reseller and if so why?

I never said that, nor would I ever state that.

This has gone way off topic and I am not prepared to comment further on it.

    Happy shopping.
