So, I'm currently attempting to get a p4000 working in my friends p170sm. We haven't had much luck though, as the Quadro drivers don't want want to work. I've tried to mod the Infs for the quadros myself, but simply lack the experience or necessary skill to do so.

I have been able to get the computer to load the drivers but it fails to correctly load the dgpu in any programs. It comes up currently as an Nvidia dev entry but thats it.

Can anyone offer some help in regards to this?

Have you tried extracting the driver package and then manually installing the driver from device manager via the 'have disk' option?

Have you checked laptopvideo2go.com and have you disabled driver signing?
