    Hey people!

I just made a small stress test of my P502 from mySN to see how the temperatures act !
I hope you can give me some feedback if the temperatures are too high or not, because I think it a bit crass high, alone, the mainboard proudly reached 91 ° C and my Graphic Card 80°C
I made a Screenshot for you

    My configuration of the notebook:

    Intel i7 3740QM
    Corsair Vengeance 2x4gig
    Radeon HD7970M
    Windows 8 Pr0 64bit
    Samsung Pro 840 SSD

    Thanks for your help!

never used prime but will give furmark a go.
if you really want to push the tems i would try intel extreme tuning. all mine hit roughly 98-99c and 34% throtling.

    edit:

furmark doesnt do much for me. only ran it for 3 minutes but temps stayed around max 60c

no surprise there if u have an nvidia gpu, since those have a built-in throttling mechanism that activates automatically whenever either furmark or OCCT is detected :)
cpu-wise furmark doesnt really do much, naturally. right the opposite, since the upped gpu-fans cool the cpu even further down with its small load in furmark ;)

CPU temps are high from what I see. Under stress, I think they should be around 70-80'C. But above that, its getting a bit too hot.

The PCH (platform host controller) temperature is normal I'd say.
My W370ET is getting it sometimes too.
Its a weird little chip that has no cooling and tends to get hot.

I know its getting silly if I say it, but have you checked for dust under the laptop?

Last but not least - if these temps are only when under stress tests, and not in gaming, then its okay.
No game should push your laptop that hard.

just to make So_ony not feel alone heres mine in the 90c+ after 4 minutes. ahh dont ya just love throttling :(
never does it in game for me though its only extreme tuning that tips mine over the top.

whatever you do So_ony DONT try intel extreme tuning or yours will hit 200c :)

Running maximum on Intel Burn I get around 72C-75C. Try repasting, or some foil mods. I also removed the thermal pads and replaced with ICD7 on them too.

Never hurts to do it yourself if you got some ICD7 lying around.
