    Hello,
    I own a P650HS-G/NP8157 with GTX1070.
It is an amazing device with amazing screen, however I would like something bigger for when I am using it as a gaming and productivity system at home and not on the go.
However, I want to know if the laptop will support 144HZ, 1440P monitor with GSync through the DisplayPort? I really want to be sure that it will work as I am gonna spend a lot for a good monitor.

    Thank you :)
    Best regards,
    Riptonk

Yes I'm doing exactly this already on my P670HS-G, running 144hz 1440p via DP.

Will work because any video outputs are connected directly do Nvidia GPU.

You can drive two such displays along with the internal panel and a 4k on the HDMI if you want to go crazy on it ;)

Ahh great :) . What is your performance btw, is it a lot worse than 1080p?

Also thanks for the help guys! :)

Oooh nicee, might be useful however gaming on all of those might fry my GPU :D

Can't remember what 1080p framerate is but I get 60s-80s fps in GTA V maxed out 1440p 144hz.

(although using FXAA instead of MSAA)
