    Hi All,
Well, my Clevo P650RS-G has seen better days and I'm looking to upgrade sometime in the next few months.
I've got my eye on the Clevo PB51DF2-S. I mainly will use it at two locations, home and work. I purchased a spare power supply with the P650 and loved not having to cart the brick around with me. So, here is my question; Can I use my current 230W (100-240V~3.2A input 19.5V=11.8A output) Power supplies as a backup kept at work, or do I need to buy a second power supply to keep at work?

They both look the same, have the same input/output and what looks like the same connection. but I'd like to confirm before I pull the trigger.

Also, are there any negatives to using an older power supply? They are both in really good condition since neither had to travel daily.

    Thanks!

All barrel types for clevo are 5.5mmx2.5mm so if both are rated the same you should be good to go.

Just make sure you get a branded adaptor, don't go no name. FSP and delta are a couple of examples.
