Hello, I apologise in advance for my lack of knowledge in this area, but I've been away from the Clevo scene for a while now.
I have a P650RS-G, and was hoping to undervolt it today. I notice that the BIOS does have a rather decent (for a notebook) Overlocking menu which allows you to set P1 and P2 TDP, and there is also an adaptive CPU voltage box. Now, this voltage box info says "Range allowed -500 to +500 mv", however, the box will not accept a negative number. When I press the minus key on the keyboard, nothing happens, it stays at zero. The plus key does cause it to go up, and I can type numbers into it, but they're all positive. So despite what the info box says, it looks like Clevo programmed this box to only accept positive values, and therefore you cannot undervolt.
I know I can use something like XTU to work around this, but I would greatly prefer a BIOS solution if possible. Back in the good ol' days, I remember a chap named Prema used to have unlocked BIOS for Clevo, but I know he's been gone for ages and doesn't release anything anymore. Does anyone know of any other unlocked BIOS for the Clevo machine I have that might work? Am just looking for something which at least unlocks undervolting for the machine, doesn't have to be anything fancy.
Would really appreciate any help with this.

If there is not a negative/positive option above or below it then it may be hidden.

I don't recall the stock BIOS offering voltage offset options. Have you reached out to the original seller? The firmware may not be openly published, but they may still supply support & updates directly.

It's cool though, I've found the Baked unlocked BIOS over at TechInferno which unlock everything, will give them a go. It's an old laptop I don't use much anymore, so if I brick it, it's no big deal. Was hoping Clevo had finally changed their ways but looks like their post-purchase support for BIOS updates are still as opaque and obfuscated as I remember. I don't understand the big deal of just having a centralised, clean and open support page with your latest BIOS on it, like MSI and Asus. There is no reason to make it so Byzantine, with different retailers offering different flavours of BIOS, all hidden from the end user and requiring various favours and support tickets to access. I even went to Pro-Star's website today, and while they have a wonderful and easy-to-use dropdown to access the drivers for the various models, they do not post BIOS, only the drivers :-( -

People liked to brick their machines so generally places stopped offering files directly.

P.S - Thanks for the compliment.Let us know how the BIOS from TI treats you if you go for it.

Yes your reseller can at least get you the right files so even if the menus are confusing the result should be a working system.
P650RS doesn't allow BIOS undervolt, any unlocked BIOS out there?
