I bought a Nvme SSD to upgrade the storage in this machine in order to replace the small m.2 SATA drive that it currently boots from. But Nvme drives can only be used for storage and cannot be booted from using the official BIOS.

Does anyone have a publically available BIOS which enables booting from a Nvme SSD for this laptop?
I tried asking PREMA because i thought he had made one a long time ago, but have had no reply.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Prema usually responds after a bit, however most people will do fine on a sata or even sata raid setup.

I have already bought the 1TB Nvme to replace the small SATA drive wich is currently my boot drive (The drive is one of the slower ones anyway but was cheap on amazon prime day sales). Hence i need a Nvme bootable BIOS. The motherboard was supposed to work with Nvme, there was no mention that it was only useable as a storage device.

Also i sent Prema a PM over a month ago and never got a reply so im not expecting one. Dont want to bombard him with PM's im sure he gets enough as it is.

It was common with the early machines as Intel had not released the support when the models launched.
