First of all thanks for reading, and for helping (if you can help me) with these 2 issues:
1) As per title, I have this laptop http://www.santech.eu/c47-series which as far as I've found, is a P651RE6-G Clevo.
Despite it being able to support GSYNC, me having the latest Nvidia drivers and having set the GPU operating mode to DISCRETE from MSHYBRID (which as far as I've read is for Optimus which is mutually exclusive with GSYNC for laptops), I have the 'DISPLAY' tab in the Nvidia control panel, but the 'SET UP G SYNC' option is missing (example below)

I've researched quite a bit on the matter but there seem to be no specific answer for my case.
2) I've also read a few posts suggesting to flash a modded Prema bios which is an improvement over the current one and would allow me to overclock my 970m and obtain a sizeable increase in performance, but my model seems to be missing from the list (unless p651RE is equivalent to p651SE?)
Would gladly appreciate any help on the matter from more knowledgeable users. Thank you in advance!

Hi @Shinyqmark
Do you know which screen/panel you have installed in the laptop? (If not, you can download and install HWiNFO64, then navigate to the "Monitor" entry in the left-hand tree of the window that details each component in your system). -

The latest drivers have issues with G-Sync. Try rolling back to version 362.00 and see if that doesn't fix the problem.
-
Thanks @Prostar Computer @saturnotaku for the quick answers!
1) My panel is an LG Philips LP156WF6
2) I will try to uninstall my drivers and reinstall 362 in case that is the problem. -

Gotcha, thanks! I believe your screen does support G-Sync, so do try out another driver version per @saturnotaku 's advice (a clean installation of a different driver is ideal). -
Yeah, I'm doing just that. I've removed my drivers with DDU and now I'm trying a clean installation of the 362.00 ones.
On a different note, do you know anything about the other issue, regarding the modded BIOS? My model seems not to be listed anywhere in the PREMA modded bios lists, I was wondering if it's meant not to be there or it's equivalent to some other version.
Thanks in advance! -

Some vendors sponsored his work so only their machines have his BIOS at the moment.
-
Oh I see, too bad then :/ however the vBIOS is not a strict requirement for the GPU overclocking, is it? As far as I understand it's just a way to push it even harder.

If I recall correctly, he produced something for the SE series; that's the generation just prior to your laptop (the RE series), but I am not sure whether that BIOS will work with your model or not. It would be best to contact Prema directly about it, either via PM here on NBR, or through his website.
It's not necessary for OCing. The stock gives you a little bit of flexibility. -

You can push it up a little further on the stock bios, but not a huge amount for obvious reasons.
-
Thanks to everyone, you've been a huge help. I'll contact Prema directly then, and ask him for further directions!

You're welcome, and good luck/happy hunting!

Every Nvidia driver update after the 362 removes G-Sync options in the Nvidia control panel. I have the Clevo P651RE6. I've had to roll back all of them (using the DDU).

Currently that has been raised with Nvidia.
-
Any word on if Nvidia is fixing this issue?
-

You might get a quicker and more direct answer via contacting their support directly about that, or maybe even by perusing the NVidia forums. Users here are pretty much in the same boat as you.
-
Nvidia Support seems hit or miss for me. I'll try their forums.
-
Looks like no response on forums, they even suggested coming here to since we have more info it. Well that sucks.

The latest set is worth giving a go
-
Gave the latest drivers a shot and it looks like it's been re-enabled. This is driver 365.10
-
Meaker@Sager Company Representative
Yes after taking it to Nvidia they seemed to have fixed it in the latest set. -

You're fine asking that.
Unfortunately we do not. We offer upgrades on systems purchased from us originally and as long as we have the inventory, or can source what's required from a vendor. -

Go to Clevo Control Center and disable MS Hybrid GPU and restart after this you have by nvidia driver - g-sync option
