    Hi everyone,

I'm using my P65XRP6 for few weeks now, and I noticed a light coil whine coming from the center of the keyboard when a second monitor (a samsung tv in my case) is plugged in via hdmi, and it becomes very loud when I'm playing a youtube video or watching a stream.

There is no coil whine when I don't use any external monitor.
I've ordered an hdmi->mDP adaptator from amazon and I'll try to plug the tv via mini display port instead of hdmi to see if it can fix or at least reduce the issue.

Does anyone here had a coil whine issue with hdmi specifically ?

    Thank you

Yup probably the GPU.. NVIDIA's GPUs keep having a lot of coil whine issues... Got pretty bad with Maxwell but 1st time I'm hearing about it in Pascal..

Everything is possible. Maybe is something with Mainboard - dont try resolve self - contact with your seller - is the best way to find solution.
