Hello, recently the case of my P705 right next to the display hinge broke (didn't fall off or something similar), so I got a spare part and wanted to replace it. Unfortunately I had a problem soon: The touchpad is glued on a foil. Is there a way to swap it into the new casing?

Use a hairdryer/heatgun to loosen it and then glue it onto the new part. Or buy a new touchpad module.
